'R' NOVA is a high build, one pack, plural reactive component, water dispersed and polymer resin complex. 'R' NOVA is an extreme duty, industrial surfacing, designed to be applied as a weather protecting topcoat over most dry surfaces. 'R' NOVA forms into a durable, flexible, fully adhered and monolithic coating.

- Used as either a protective or reflective coating, depending upon the substrate and application.
- Protects against corrosion on metal surfaces.
- Premium resin technology provides for superior reflective qualities.
- Energy Star Listed.
- During maximum solar loading, the ceramic element(s) in ‘R’ NOVA can promote HVAC enemy load reductions.
Step 1 - Preparation*
Apply only over clean, dry surfaces free of solid or liquid particulates and contaminants.
OVER EXISTING BUR or SBS SUBSTRATES
To prepare surface, repair all large blisters, splits, holes and non-conformities where the plies have been fractured or have been cut and repaired. Three-course repair with SOPREMA approved fabric and sealant. Allow roof cement to set-up to reduce bleed-through at the ‘R’ NOVA surface.
Step 2 - Application*
‘R’ NOVA may be applied between 40° F (4.4° C) and 140° F (60° C) ambient temperatures. To insure homogeneity, stir ‘R’ NOVA slowly and well before and during use. Avoid air entrapment to minimize pin holing. Allow full cure prior to application of ‘R’ NOVA. Spray, brush or roll in two (2) evenly applied coats at right angles to each other. Apply at a minimum rate of one (1) gallon per 100 sq. ft. per coat.
EXTREME CONDITIONS
Where harsh weather (severe hail, snow and ice, etc.) excessive foot traffic or abrasion, or chronic ponding water occurs apply additional coats of ‘R’ NOVA.
