History

The newly formed SOPREMA LIQUID DIVISION and its liquid product line has its roots firmly planted in 1996, when SOPREMA acquired the products, processes, patents and know-how of a European corporation that, since 1972, had been producing leading-edge liquid waterproofing systems.

Ten years later, history repeated itself as SOPREMA acquired the state-of-the-art PMMA liquid membrane technology to build on their reputation as being on the leading edge of roofing technology.

The SOPREMA LIQUID DIVISION formulates, manufactures and supplies liquid systems applicable to commercial building roofing and waterproofing requirements and provides unparalleled technical expertise from the early planning stages through the application process.

Since 1908, SOPREMA has been recognized as a world leader in producing high quality roofing and waterproofing SBS membrane systems. With the introduction of the SOPREMA LIQUID DIVISION, a tradition of excellence in the roofing industry continues a century later.

ALSAN URETHANE SYSTEMS

Alsan Urethane Systems combine time-tested technologies with cost effective products that have proven to be the solution to a myriad of roofing and waterproofing applications. Alsan Urethane systems consist of single component products meaning that there’s no onsite mixing required. Also, given that some of the products in the line contain bituminous asphalt, their compatibility with asphaltic-based roofing products further enhances its versatility.
ALSAN RS PMMA SYSTEMS

Alsan RS PMMA Systems feature state-of-the-art, high performance liquid roofing and waterproofing systems. The product line’s extreme performance capability is evidenced in the toughest of applications, including parking decks. The versatility of the Alsan RS PMMA Systems are unquestioned as there is virtually no roofing or waterproofing situation that cannot be addressed and made watertight. Also, the products can be installed in freezing temperatures, expanding liquid membrane systems to an almost unheard of weather window. Perhaps best of all, all components in the RS line have rapid cure times, eliminating any “watertight” concerns after a crew is finished for the night.
ALSAN SEBS SYSTEMS

Alsan SEBS Systems consist of costeffective resins used primarily in coating single-ply and metal roof buildings. The resins are singlecomponent, eliminating the need for onsite mixing, and feature fast cure times. The systems are normally installed without fleece reinforcement, allowing the products to be sprayapplied for a quick application. Alsan SEBS Systems also have very strong reflectivity ratings and will remain consistent over time.
